PETER D. WILLIAMSON has been with Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Martin, from 2007 to present. He received his education at the Univ. of Illinois, 1966, B.A. and the Univ. ofTexas, 1969, J.D. He is Board-certified, Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS), Immigration and Nationality Law (1979-present) and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas (Texas Monthly "Super Lawyer," 2003 - 2011) and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

He is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts, Southern and Western Districts of Texas; U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 4th, 5th, gth, 9th, 10th, 11th and D.C. Circuits; and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been counsel in approximately 20 appellate cases with reported decisions. He has maintained TBLS board certification in civil appellate law from 1987- 1997 and has been active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), serving as chair of the Texas chapter, on the national board of governors, and on the national executive committee. He has also served as national president of AILA. AILA has a membership of over 11,000 attorneys who practice in the field of immigration and nationality law.

Mr. Williamson's biography appears in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Best Lawyers in America. He has also been in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who is the South and Southwest. He maintains an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Mr. Williamson is a founding member of IMMLAW, the national consortium of immigration law firms. He also served as a member of the State Bar of Texas Immigration Law Committee and as a member (and chair) of the Advisory Committee in Immigration and Naturalization Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

He has appeared as a speaker or panelist in immigration law topics at many seminars in past years, including in Albuquerque, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, El Paso, Fort Worth, Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Richardson, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Seattle, Toronto, Tyler, Washington, and elsewhere. He has spoken on American immigration law topics in Mexico, Canada, the Dominican Republic and Republic of the Philippines.
