T. DOUGLAS STUMP is an attorney with over 22 years of experience in a practice limited exclusively to immigration law. His practice focuses on employment based immigration law, complex deportation, asylum, and family immigration matters. He maintains offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Mr. Stump is serving a second three year term as one of the 22 elected directors governing the 9,500-member American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is the past president of (AILA) Texas Chapter and an adjunct professor of immigration law at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He serves as Chair of AILA’s Citizenship and Immigration Services National Security Liaison Committee and is a member of the Customs & Border Protection Committee (CBP). He is past chair of the AILA/Administrative Appeals Office Liaison Committee in Washington, D.C. and served as a member of the AILA/CIS Service Center Operations Committee. He is a Senior Editor for AILA Publications and is the past chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association/Immigration and Naturalization Service Texas Service Center Liaison Committee. Mr. Stump has been listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers since 1996 and is recognized in “Best Lawyers in America” for immigration law. 

Mr. Stump has edited over 17 books on immigration law and is a frequent lecturer at national and international conferences on immigration law. Mr. Stump is also a trustee of the American Immigration Law Foundation and serves on that organization’s Legal Action Center.
